Day 1: Arrival and Tasting Tirana Vibes
Welcome to Albania!
Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport, you’ll pick up your pre-arranged car and drive to your hotel in Tirana. After settling in, our tour organizer will meet you for a brief kick-off meeting, where you'll receive detailed itinerary information, important contact numbers, an Albanian map, and, if desired, a mobile phone with a prepaid Albanian SIM card to stay connected throughout your journey.
Depending on your arrival time, we can plan a city tour, or you can enjoy a leisurely day exploring the main attractions or visiting the Grand Park by the Lake. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant, followed by free time to explore areas like Tirana Castle, the vibrant Blloku district, and the city's lively nightlife with bars, restaurants, and cafes.

Day 2: Cultural Treasures and Coastal Vibes: Berat to Vlora
After breakfast, you'll drive from Tirana to Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved Ottoman houses, often called “the city of a thousand windows.” Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our local guide collaborator who will lead you on a guided tour through the cobbled streets, where you’ll experience the town’s rich history and traditional architecture. Visit the impressive Castle of Berat, where you can explore its churches and mosques, all while taking in panoramic views of the old town and the Osum River valley.
For lunch (not included), you can choose to enjoy a meal at a traditional restaurant in the castle or old hamlet, or, if you are keen on wines visit a nearby winery renowned for its fine wines (allow approximately 2 hours, including transfers).
Afterward, you’ll drive toward Vlora. If time permits, you can choose to make a stop at the Apollonia Archaeological Park, or visit Zvernec Island in the Narta Lagoon, accessible by a long bridge. On Zvernec Island, you can explore the peaceful Zvernec Monastery and take in stunning views of the surrounding scenic beauty.
Finally, you arrive in Vlora, a lively beach city and gateway to the Albanian Riviera. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Lungomare promenade, lined with shops, restaurants, and bars, where you can relax and take in the coastal atmosphere.Local guide: Included

Day 3: Sazan Karaburun National Park Boat Excursion
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Vlora port for a memorable boat trip to Sazan Karaburun National Park, reserved for you through our trusted local partners.
Your first stop is Sazan Island, where a local guide will share fascinating insights into its historic old town. Afterward, enjoy some free time relaxing on the island’s serene beach with refreshing drinks provided.
Next, take a short boat ride to the mesmerizing Haxhi Ali Cave, where you can snorkel and admire its natural beauty. Continue to the Karaburun Peninsula and stop at a well-equipped beach featuring a cozy tavern for a delightful lunch (included). After lunch, take some time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the beach.In the late afternoon, return to Vlora Touristic Port. The evening is yours to enjoy—explore Vlora’s lively nightlife or relax at your hotel.

Day 4: Relaxation and Exploration on the Dhermi Coast
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive along the breathtaking coastal road to Dhermi, one of Albania's most famous beaches, celebrated for its crystal-clear turquoise waters.
To reach Dhermi, we suggest taking the route through Llogara National Park. You will enjoy a scenic drive through pine forests, with fresh air and breathtaking views at Llogara Pass, one of the most stunning viewpoints in Albania.Upon arrival in Dhermi, you can spend the day relaxing on the beach. For those seeking adventure, consider hiking to the stunning Gjipe Beach—a hidden gem often regarded as one of Albania's most beautiful beaches. The hike takes approximately 30 minutes, or you can choose to reach it by kayak or boat. Alternatively, explore the charm of Old Dhermi village and visit the picturesque St. Mary’s Church, perched on a hill overlooking the village.
At the end of the day, transfer to Himara for the overnight stay. Conclude your day with dinner at a beachfront restaurant, enjoying fresh local flavors.

Day 5: Coastal Discoveries and Historical Treasures
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading south, driving through charming coastal villages. Your first stop is Porto Palermo Bay, home to the historic Ali Pasha Castle. Explore this unique triangular fortress and learn about the life and legacy of Ali Pasha Tepelena, an influential Albanian ruler of the 18th and 19th centuries. Take some free time to relax on the beach, swim, or enjoy lunch at a local taverna.
Continue your journey to Saranda, a vibrant coastal city. If preferred, along the way, stop at a local factory for a tasting of extra virgin olive oil made from centuries-old olive trees, offering a glimpse into Albania’s rich traditions (not included).
Upon arrival in Saranda, spend the afternoon as you wish—relaxing on the beach, exploring the city, or visiting highlights such as Lekuresi Castle for breathtaking views. End the day with a stroll along the lively promenade or savoring fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants
Optional: For those who prefer the beach, this day offers the opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful beaches along the Albanian Riviera, such as Gjipe Beach (if not visited the day before), Jale Beach, Livadh, Potam, or Borsh Beach. Alternatively, if the inland appeals more than the coastline, consider a visit to the stunning Upper Qeparo village. Wandering through this picturesque village is like stepping into a storybook, where every corner reflects the charm and authenticity of rural life. You can also enjoy lunch at a traditional taverna in the village.

Day 6: Tailor Your Own Adventure in Saranda (Free Day- Corfu visit option)
Today is yours to tailor as you wish in Saranda, with a variety of options to suit your preferences and pace:
Adventure in Corfu (Greece): Take a one-day trip to Corfu, Greece, just a short ferry ride away. The fast ferry takes 30 minutes (€50 per person, roundtrip, not included), while ferries accommodating vehicles take about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Once there, you can explore Corfu's Old City, join a guided tour with local operators, or enjoy a boat trip to the picturesque islands of Paxos and AntiPaxos.
Butrint & Ksamil: Explore the archaeological wonders of Butrint and the pristine beaches of Ksamil, combining history with natural beauty. For your Butrint visit, you can opt to hire a local guide for €25-30 (not included).
Relaxation in Saranda: Relax on Saranda’s beautiful beaches or nearby spots, or join a small-group boat trip (priced at €30-40 per person, not included).

Day 7: Experiencing Gjirokastra's “Chronicles in Stone”
On the seventh day, you will drive for about an hour from Saranda to Gjirokastra, a UNESCO-listed city known for its captivating stone architecture and cultural heritage. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our local guide, who will lead you on a tour of the Castle of Gjirokastra, the Balkans' second-largest fortress, which has been transformed into a museum and offers panoramic views from the 12th and 13th centuries. Next, your guide will take you to the restored Ottoman-era Skenduli House in the old town, where you will gain insights into the traditions of its former inhabitants. You’ll have some free time to explore the Old Bazaar, where you can choose to have lunch at one of the traditional restaurants.
After lunch, you will drive to Tirana. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening in the vibrant city. Choose from one of the many bars, pubs, or restaurants to celebrate the end of your memorable tour.

Day 8 Farwell & Departure
Before departing, enjoy a free morning exploring Tirana at your own pace. If time permits, you can choose to join a guided city tour (optional) to discover the city’s rich history and culture, including its key landmarks. Visit key landmarks such as Bunk'Art, the Et'hem Bey Mosque, and Skanderbeg Square, while learning about Albania’s past and present.
Once you arrive at the airport and complete the rental car return procedure, your tour in Albania comes to an end. Our tour manager/coordinator will meet you for a final check-in, where you can exchange any feedback on your tour experience and receive assistance with your departure process.
As you say goodbye to Tirana, you will take the spirit of Albania with you, promising to return for more laughter, adventures, and cherished memories.

This tour is best enjoyed between May and September, when the weather is warm and sunny, perfect for beach activities and outdoor explorations. During these months, temperatures range from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), ensuring ideal conditions for swimming, sunbathing, and sightseeing. July and August are peak tourist months with lively atmospheres, while May, June, and September offer a more relaxed experience with fewer crowds. This period also coincides with numerous local festivals, providing an authentic glimpse into Albanian culture and traditions.

• This is a private drive-yourself tour, meaning you will not be mixed with other travelers. The minimum number of participants is two. • This is a partially guided tour, meaning you will not have a guide accompanying you for the entire trip. However, local guides, our partners will lead and assist you in exploring the main historical cities and attractions. • For groups larger than eight, you will need to be split into more cars. If you prefer to stay together as a group in one vehicle, a van or mini-bus a local driver can be added to accompany you. Please contact us for special arrangements. • Driving License: All participants intending to drive must possess a valid driving license. An International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required for non-EU citizens. • Car Rental Responsibility: Please note that the car rental is managed directly by the rental company (our partner), not by us. Any issues related to the rental, including the terms of the contract, damage, or insurance, should be addressed with the rental company. We are not responsible for any rental-related matters. • Car Selection: The type of car you select for the tour must match the driver's experience and comfort level. • Our cars come with Rental Car Insurance: TPL Insurance (standard coverage) is included in the tour price. Full Casco Insurance is not included but can be added for an additional supplement, available upon request, offering 100% coverage in the event of an accident, excluding abusive damage or loss of keys. • Driving Conditions: Albania has well-maintained roads in urban areas, but rural roads may be less developed. Please drive with caution, particularly in mountainous regions. • Fuel and Mileage: Fuel is not included in the tour price, and you will be responsible for fuel costs during your trip. The car comes with a full tank at the start of the tour. • Roadbook and Mobile Phone: You will receive a detailed electronic roadbook and a mobile phone with an Albanian SIM card for easy navigation and emergency contact. • Local Guides: Local guides will be available in Berat, Gjirokastra, and Tirana to enhance your cultural experience. • Parking and Traffic: Pay attention to local parking regulations and traffic rules, as violations may result in fines. • Road Assistance: 24-hour roadside assistance is available if needed during the tour. • Suitable for age 6+. • Tour’s schedule or itinerary may be affected/adopted due to; weather, Acts of God, labour strikes, bank holidays, site temporary closure/renovation or other external forces outside the Company’s control. • If you arrive or depart from an airport other than Tirana, we can advise you on the best transportation options available. Airports in neighboring cities, such as those in Kosovo (Pristina), Montenegro (Podgorica), Greece (Corfu, Preveza, Ioannina, Thessaloniki), and North Macedonia (Skopje, Ohrid), can also be considered for your travel. • On request this tour may also depart from other cities of Albania or neighbouring countries such as Kosovo, Montenegro, Greece or N. PAYMENT AND CANCELATION POLICY
PAYMENT AND CANCELATION POLICY Payments: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining 80% balance is due 45 days before the tour departure. For shorter trips (3 days or less), the balance is due 20 days before the tour departure. Cancellations & Refunds: 70 days or more before departure: 100% refund of the deposit amount paid. 69–45 days before departure: Loss of the 20% deposit. 30–44 days before departure: Loss of 30% of the total tour price. 15–29 days before departure: Loss of 50% of the total tour price. 8–14 days before departure: Loss of 75% of the total tour price. 7 days or less before departure: Loss of 100% of the total tour price (no refund). Postponements: If you wish to postpone instead of cancel, you can do so free of charge up to 45 days prior to departure, and all payments will be credited toward future travel. Note: Paying with a credit or debit card is not possible at the moment. We accept payments in Euros and the best payment method is via bank transfer or cash. This cancellation policy is valid for individual bookings and private groups of up to 8 travelers. For bigger groups please contact us and we will do our best to suit your wishes. We still recommend purchasing reliable travel insurance. If you have any doubts, questions, concerns, or need to soften our cancellation policy for whatever reason, don’t hesitate to contact us we will be glad to help and find a solution that suits everyone.
