A 14-day private journey through mountain landscapes, historic towns and the Adriatic and Ionian coasts.
Discover Montenegro and Albania on a journey combining mountain scenery, coastal life, cultural heritage and local flavours. Travel with your own English-speaking driver-guide, with a balance of guided exploration, outdoor experiences and time to enjoy each destination at your own pace.
Begin in Montenegro’s mountain region, exploring Durmitor National Park, Black Lake and views over the Tara Canyon. Continue to the Bay of Kotor for medieval streets, a boat trip and a taste of the bay’s shellfish-farming traditions. Discover Lovćen National Park and Cetinje before spending time in the seaside town of Budva.
Cross into Albania and explore Tirana before travelling through the wetlands of Divjakë–Karavasta and the historic city of Berat. Visit a family-run winery, follow the Albanian Riviera and discover Porto Palermo, Butrint, Ksamil and the Blue Eye spring.
Your journey continues to Gjirokastra and the Përmet area, where rafting on the Vjosa River and a visit to the Bënja Thermal Baths bring an adventurous finish before your return to Tirana.
